Originally from Los Angeles, Mike moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 12, where he was raised and later graduated from high school. He went on to serve in the United States Army and the Arkansas National Guard before earning his Bachelor of Arts in History from Arkansas Tech University.
Outside of the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and their large, blended family, which includes children, stepchildren, and grandchildren. He is an avid sports fan, following the Arkansas Razorbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Stars, and Oklahoma City Thunder. In his spare time, he also enjoys music, movies, and traveling.
