Oklahoma City Associate Attorney at Putnam Law Office

Associate Attorney
Cameron Ward is an associate attorney at Putnam Law Office, where she represents clients in family law, personal injury, and other matters. Her work includes case strategy, client counseling, discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, negotiation, mediation, and litigation.
Cameron approaches clients with patience, honesty, and clear communication. She understands that legal problems often arise during stressful and uncertain periods, and she works to make the process manageable by keeping clients informed, addressing their concerns, and helping them make confident decisions. Cameron is drawn to the opportunity to stand beside people whose interests and stability are at risk.
Before joining Putnam Law Office, Cameron served with the American Indian Wills Clinic, providing estate-planning services to Native American clients. Her work included drafting wills involving trust and restricted Indian land, analyzing ownership records, and coordinating with tribal and federal agencies to identify and document property interests.
She also was a mediator at Early Settlement Mediation where she analyzed disputes, identified legal issues, facilitated negotiations, and helped parties reach workable resolutions. That experience gave her a wealth of experience in conflict resolution and the judgment to recognize when compromise serves a client—and when stronger advocacy is required.
Cameron earned her Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma. Before law school, Cameron earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas A&M. She played collegiate tennis and served as team captain – both experiences that helped develop the discipline, resilience, and composure under pressure that she brings to our legal practice.
Originally from California, she now considers Oklahoma home. Outside the office, Cameron volunteers with the Oklahoma Humane Society, attends church, follows Texas A&M athletics, visits national parks, and trains for half-marathons and HYROX competitions. She enjoys spending time with her pug (Tank), her cat (Luka), and is fluent in American Sign Language.
